Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is now the fastest-selling Nintendo home console game in Europe ever. It's already sold over 3 million copies in the United States, and has worlwide sales of over 5 million.
Driftboard is the newest vehicle coming to Fortnite
Epic Games announced the Driftboard, a single player snowboard that they intended to add to Fortnite with patch 7.10. Shortly after announcing the news of the new vehicle, Epic Games shared an announcement that they will delay the introduction of the Driftboard while they make some final quality of life changes and other polish improvements.
Horde and Alliance can now communicate in World of Warcraft with the help of a potion
It's been over a decade but Blizzard decided it was finally time for the Horde and Alliance to talk to each other. They added a potion called 'Elixir of Tongues' that enables cross-faction communication for an hour costing 30g.
Lemmings comes to mobile devices
Sony surprised everyone with the free release of Lemmings on iOS and Android. It's a surprise because no one expected Lemmings to come to mobile in 2018, and because few people knew Sony owned the IP for Lemmings.
Valve unexpectedly updated Artifact with it's first patch
Valve announced they would embrace ongoing card balance in Artifact, something they hadn't previously planned on doing. The new update balanced some of the more powerful cards and Valve said they would offer players a chance to sell cards back to the store for the next two weeks. The update also now allows players to level up and earn tickets and card packs as they play. It's good to see Valve addressing the complaints from the community.
Blizzard creates an Overwatch League discipline tracker
Blizzard are maintaining and publicising a list of players who are disciplined for breaking the Overwatch rules. It's a clever attempt at naming and shaming Overwatch League professionals in the hopes to deter them from breaking the rules.

Twitch Prime users are getting an early visit from Santa this year. Devolver Digital have put together a Holiday Pack that includes 7 free games. The pack includes Broforce, Hotline Miami, Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number, The Messenger, STRAFE, Crossing Souls, and The Swords of Ditto. Twitch Prime users can download the games any time after claiming the pack and the games will not expire.
